OLBIA. Despite the bad weather, times were respected: Sunday at 7.00 AM the airport of Olbia, in Costa Smeralda, has been reopened to air traffic with the first “Meridiana” flight to Rome Fiumicino. That is announced by Geasar, the Company that supervises the stopover.

The airport of Olbia was closed for 6 days because of the works of requalification of the runway that we carried out. In order to modernise the 35.000 square meters of runway were involved 10 technicians and 80 employees that worked 24 hours per day divided in 3 shifts.
