| The work, carried out in the
municipality of Perego, included the demolition of a building
of approximate volume 11,000 cubic metres. The building
consisted of a load-bearing structure in reinforced concrete,
prefabricated reinforced concrete floor slabs, and walls in
brick and cement.
The work was carried out using tracked excavators equipped
with hydraulic crushers. After removing all the iron and steel,
the demolition waste was crushed on site to make it suitable
for subsequent re-use. The cleared area will be used to construct
a new residential zone of 70 dwellings.
