| The project in question consisted
of the demolition of a water tower, of approximate
height 40 metres, used by the municipality of Osnago as a
distribution tank to supply the town.
The support structure consisted of heavy reinforced
concrete columns and beams, while the tank itself
was in reinforced concrete with a brick lining.
The peculiarity of this demolition job was the fact that the
tower was located in a private garden, approximately 5.0 metres
from an inhabited dwelling.
The demolition work was carried out using a 250 tone
mobile crane with superlift and a 15 ton
tracked excavator equipped with a hydraulic
crusher for breaking up the rubble
