At the “idroscalo di Milano”, Vitali S.p.A. has designed and realised a long stretch of green with a cycleway and pedestrian footpath. The project is part of an innovative strategy involving the local administrations in the environmental improvement of vast areas of land. The works include the creation of natural parkland for recreational and receptive activities and public services.

These administrative choices represent a valid opportunity for inserting residential quarters in a new environmental context.

The results will constitute useful models for future proposals in other zones of the same territory, which will answer the growing need for a better use of the terrain in an environment-landscape protection context.
