Vitali S.p.A. is committed to improving
and developing the community in which it
works and produces. A part of each year’s
profits is used for funding local, national
and international social and cultural initiatives.
The brand is often associated with important
sport events. Vitali is becoming increasingly
involved in sponsoring shows, publications
and cultural events.
The purpose of being the golden sponsor
of A. C. Monza is to share a common idea:
the value of sport.
We associate our brand with shared values
and emotions. Sport and business follow
our philosophy: passion, challenge, competition
and results. Sport is an event in which
the moral values of loyalty and sporting
fraternity are asserted and represents one
of the most important resource for maintaining
and improving our physical wellbeing. In
addition, it restores our contact with nature
as well as with others, teaching us the
respect for the environment and allowing
us to make positive use of our energies.
Our commitment is our desire to support
local sport disciplines, and we are truly
proud to be able to be the sponsor of one
of the most important sports associations.
The desire for sport continues…..
Vitali enters world division A1 associating
its brand to another team: Benetton Basket.
The idea to sponsor the team follows our
aim : “the desire to grow”.
Benetton Basket, in fact, can be proud of
an excellent performance record, their latest
success being the recent success in the
2006/2007 "Coppa Italia”, as
well as their dynamic team image. The team
was crowned Italian Champions in 2006, a
title they had already won in the championships
1992, 1997, 2002 and 2003.
A little bit of history…
" In 1979 Treviso got a promotion in
the ’A2’ Division . In 1980/81
with De Sisti leading the team got a promotion
in the ‘A1’ Division. At the
end of the season, the president, Bordignon,
handed the team over to the Benetton family
who became their new owners, with Gianni
Furlan as new president. Benetton ended
the season in fifth position, and only lost
in their third game at the quarter finals
at the Messaggero Roma basketball club,
subsequently classified as 5th overall and
thus qualifying for the Coppa Korac. The
1992/93 season saw the team defending its
title and appearing for the first time in
the European Club Championships, the ex
Champions Cup. An intense season with over
70 competitions, with Benetton off to a
flying start by immediately winning its
first Supercoppa at the Palaverde arena
against Kinder Bologna. In the meantime
the league, the green and yellows managed
to reach a regular season third place. In
Italy, after reaching second place in the
regular season, Benetton Basket entered
turbo mode for the playoffs: 3-0 in the
quarter finals at Coop Nordest Trieste,
3-1 decisive win over Kinder Bologna in
a semi-final that saw authentic solidarity
and teamwork . After winning the Euro-derby
against Montepaschi in the semi-final, Benetton
Basket lost the third attempt at the continental
throne in Barcelona in front of their 16000
fans at Palau Sant Jordi. Champions of Italy
and runners-up in Europe: Ettore Messina
is convinced this will also be the case
in 2003-2004, with a rejuvenated and even
more determined formation: Treviso wants
to win again…"

BORGHI
& BURATTINI New
edition of "borghi e burattini",
enriched with thousands of animated figures, puppets
and marionettes who have brought joy to the summer
in Bergamo with their stories, dances and incredible
feats, entertaining both young people and older
ones.
Sixteen companies and over thirty eight shows in
the city and its province. Local administrations
have responded with renewed enthusiasm to the artistic
proposals of the foundation by organising a number
of shows. The same can be said for numerous parish
communities in the province, as well as some of
the associations operating in the sectors of those
less fortunate. Finally, a number of companies,
including Vitali, have expressed their support for
these cultural events by acting as sponsors.
