The new "Headquarter Basilisco"
is located in the municipality of Peschiera Borromeo (Milan),
in a green area near the Idroscalo park and the Parco Agricolo
sud of Milan, is in close proximity to Linate airport, to the
railway stop of the Passante ferroviario of Segrate and the
underground of Milan. The new Headquarter is in a barycentric
and strategic position for both road connections and public
transport: along the S.S. Paullese on the south and the S.P.
Rivoltana on the north.
The area increases its value thanks to facilities and services,
natural (spring systems, agricultural areas) historical and
architectural elements, (Castle of Mirazzano and “Cascine
Agricole” with their historical courts) as well as for
the bicycle - pedestrian paths that cross these places of particular
beauty.
The green and open courts of the park, but above all the Pergola
all around the offices, welcome clients to the outer part and
accompany them to the inside, integrating the user with the
external façades of the same buildings as breesoleil.
The new "Headquarter Basilisco" represents the link
between natural landscape and the built-up areas. The Pergola,
for example, is made of simple and geometric lines that are
similar to those layouts of the agricultural fields typical
of the Pianura Padana. This is in all senses the underlying
theme that has animated the project since its conception up
to the final version.
The essential characteristics of the intervention:
60.000 sqm park, 40.000 sqm parking lots, 50.000 sqm of slp,
services: cafeteria, restaurant, cafe, meeting center and auditorium,
fitness center, flexible and functional working spaces with
18 meters depth, jogging paths, kindergarten and primary school,
high efficiency, functionality and flexibility of working spaces
according to American standards, technology and building quality,
elevated building standards, maximum energetic efficiency, covering
façades in glass and wood.
